Vacmet India is showcasing its latest sustainable speciality film technologies at Interpack 2026, reinforcing its position as a global supplier of flexible packaging materials and circular economy solutions.

Headquartered in Agra, India, Vacmet India was founded in 1993 by the late Dinesh Chand Agarwal and has grown from a speciality coating business into an integrated producer of flexible packaging films. At Interpack 2026, the company is highlighting its portfolio of BOPP and BOPET films developed for food, beverage, and healthcare packaging applications.

The company’s participation at the Düsseldorf exhibition is centred on demonstrating how high-performance barrier properties can be combined with recyclability to support the packaging industry’s transition towards circularity.

Vacmet is also emphasising its strength in backward integration, showcasing capabilities that span the entire production chain — from PET chips to metallised and holographic film solutions. The company said this integrated manufacturing model enables tighter process control, consistent quality, and faster innovation for global customers.

At Interpack 2026, Vacmet is highlighting ultra-thin, high-barrier substrates designed to help brand owners reduce plastic consumption while maintaining shelf life and packaging performance. The company is presenting these solutions as part of the wider global push towards lightweight and resource-efficient packaging structures.

In addition to flexible films, Vacmet is showcasing specialised products including stamping foils and metallised paper, targeting applications where premium aesthetics and functional protection are equally important.

The company’s leadership team is also participating in industry discussions around the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), particularly around recyclability targets and the growing adoption of mono-material packaging structures.

With five manufacturing facilities in India and expanding operations in the UK and the Netherlands, Vacmet is using Interpack 2026 as a platform to strengthen international partnerships and reinforce its sustainability-led growth strategy.

The company stated that its long-term focus remains on balancing industrial scale with environmental responsibility, while continuing to develop packaging materials aligned with evolving global regulations and brand owner expectations.
