The seventh annual Pharma Packaging, Labelling, Serialisation and Supply Chain 2025 conference, organised by Virtue Insight, is scheduled for  19 August 2025, at the Holiday Inn Airport International Hotel in Mumbai, India. The conference's objective is to equip attendees with the latest knowledge of industry developments.

The agenda promises discussions around several critical themes. These include navigating the complex challenges inherent in pharmaceutical packaging, labelling, and artwork, exploring the transformative role of smart packaging in enhancing patient safety and drug efficacy, and integrating automation and intelligence to bolster compliance and user experience. Discussions will also delve into leveraging eco-friendly materials, reducing packaging waste, enhancing transparency and cold-chain integrity, and effectively combating counterfeiting to ensure quality assurance. Furthermore, the conference will address managing rapid changes in regulations through proactive stakeholder collaboration.

The speakers sharing their expertise include RM Bajaj, assistant commissioner, FDA; Lokesh Patel, founder director, URL Aseptic Automation; Bhupesh Mittal, technical packaging programme lead, Bayer; and Somnath Basu, team leader of Reviewers of Drugs, National Regulatory Authority for Drugs. Jose Camara Santiago, chief executive officer, Camara Validation and Consulting Services, and Shriniwas Singh, HOD packaging development, Themis Medicare, are also among the speakers. The lineup further features Gresh Kumar, global operations excellence director, Novartis; Chakravarthi AVPS, global ambassador, World Packaging Organisation; Bijoy Peter, general manager - technical services, GS1; and Omprakash S Sadwani, former joint commissioner and controlling authority, FDA (Maharashtra State). Adding to the exchange of knowledge will be Ashok Kumar Bhattacharya, former executive director, Takeda, and Prasad Shidhaye, ex-director, India, deliver Asia Pacific, supply chain, Johnson & Johnson.
