The fifth edition of Cosmoprof India is set to open its doors at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from 4 to 6 December 2025, positioning itself as a crucial hub for international stakeholders looking to tap into the booming Indian beauty and personal care market. The Indian beauty sector, valued at USD 24-billion in 2025, is one of the world's fastest-growing, with forecasts projecting it will hit USD 40-45-billion by 2030. This rapid expansion, fuelled by rising disposable incomes and changing consumer behaviour, presents a massive opportunity not just for finished goods but also for the packaging and supply chain sectors.
The 2025 exhibition will maintain a clear focus on the entire supply chain through Cosmopack India, which will specifically showcase excellence in areas like ingredients and raw materials, machinery, and packaging. This dedicated segment allows printers and converters to connect directly with major beauty brands seeking innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. In a parallel display, Cosmoprof India will feature finished products across perfumery, cosmetics, toiletries, and hair sectors. The last edition was a record setter, attracting over 355 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions and more than 11,000 stakeholders from 52 countries. From 2019 to 2024, the exhibition space increased by 90% and exhibitor numbers rose by 78%, underscoring its rapidly growing influence.
A key highlight for industry professionals is the focus on premiumisation and new consumer trends that directly influence packaging demand. The event provides a stage to observe trends such as the rise of multi-step beauty routines, the growing role of Ayurveda and clean beauty, and the impact of new technologies like AI and digital try-ons. These developments are driving demand for high-quality, sustainable, and highly decorated packaging. The event also facilitates business through its expanded Buyer Programme, connecting participants with top buyers, including brand owners, distributors, and retailers from the Middle East, Nepal, Europe, and India. Tailored B2B meetings will be arranged via the Cosmoprof India My Match platform to ensure valuable networking.
The commitment to celebrating innovation will be visible in the Cosmoprof India and Cosmopack India Awards, which will feature six categories, including three for the supply chain, celebrating excellence in quality and sustainability, a core concern for modern printing and packaging firms. The awards recorded a 105% increase in product submissions in 2024 versus 2023. Additionally, for the finished product sector, the event will feature the second edition of One Shot by On Hair, bringing world-leading hair companies to the stage for live demonstrations. With India reinforcing its position as a strategic hub for the global beauty industry, Cosmoprof India 2025 is set to be a landmark edition for all stakeholders, especially those in the manufacturing and packaging segments.
