PackMach 2023: ITC Limited displays its range of flexible packaging portfolio

On the third day of the PackMach Asia Expo 2023, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 4 to 6 October, Sagar from ITC Limited gave insights about the company’s sustainable offerings, and its product portfolio. Ayushi Jha reports.

At the PackMack Asia Expo 2023, ITC showcased an array of laminates, flexible pouches and cartons tailored for a wide range of beverages and staple products, including wheat, and sugar. It offers an integrated solution for laminates ranging from in-house blown film, cast film, extrusion lamination to hot-melt coating.

ITC doesn’t stop at conventional packaging solution, it also offers speciality packaging that caters to specific requirements. By investing in speciality packaging, ITC underscores its commitment to innovation and the ability to anticipate to the demands of the packaging industry.

Sagar, sales and marketing head, ITC Limited quoted that “the company sales have been good and more interest from the start-up companies has been witnessed”. Sustainability has been a crucial element of the company policy, adding further he said that sustainability is the future of packaging, people are exploring options. He said, “ITC is keen to witness the journey to sustainability in the Indian packaging industry.

Talking about the show, Sagar said, “The response has been very good. We got to meet a lot of our customers, and there seems to be future prospects for potential customers and visitors. The packaging and commercial giants are hopeful that they would be getting good business in the current financial year.

In its efforts to accelerate innovation towards sustainable packaging, the business has launched a flagship InnovPack campaign, leveraging its formulations like Bioseal, Oxyblock and Germ-free coating. In addition to sustainability, ITC is also offering a wide range of digital offerings such as augmented reality (AR) and anti-counterfeit features under the Paconnect campaign.
