Syntegon will showcase packaging systems at Anuga FoodTec India to meet the requirements of the snack and biscuit market. The company will present its vertical packaging machine, the SVL 2310, and the Pack 301 LS horizontal flow wrapper.
From 20–22 August 2025, Syntegon will be at Anuga FoodTec India at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The event focuses on innovations in food processing, packaging, and automation. Syntegon will feature two packaging systems designed for India's snack and biscuit market at booth L02.
Urbanisation and consumption changes contribute to growth in India’s snacks and biscuits sector. Ashish Deshpande, managing director at Syntegon Technology India, stated that the company’s solutions address the need for increased output while maintaining product quality.
The SVL 2310 is a vertical packaging machine designed for handling lightweight and delicate snacks, such as potato chips. Its core features focus on both speed and product protection. The machine can produce up to 110-bags per minute, with a twin version (SVL 2310T) capable of 220-bags per minute, effectively doubling the output. A key design aspect is its low drop height, which minimises the risk of product breakage during the packaging process. This is particularly important for fragile snacks. The machine also offers flexibility with tool-less format changes, allowing manufacturers to quickly adapt to different bag sizes, designs, and materials. An intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) makes it user-friendly for operators. The compact and scalable design of the SVL 2310 is suitable for manufacturers who require high production rates while managing floor space efficiently.
The Pack 301 LS is a horizontal flow wrapper with an automatic measuring loader. It is engineered for packaging a variety of biscuit and cracker shapes, including round, square, or rectangular. The machine can achieve speeds of up to 250-packs per minute with a duplex infeed, while handling products gently to prevent damage. The Pack 301 is designed to package popular formats like on-edge flow wraps, a common choice in the biscuit market. It is also suitable for packaging healthier biscuit options, such as gluten-free or high-fiber varieties, which often have more delicate textures. Syntegon also offers the Pack 301 CS variant, which is built to accommodate the increasing demand for multipack and family pack formats. This solution aims to give manufacturers a competitive edge by combining output with flexibility and gentle handling.
Comprehensive service solutions
Syntegon will also present its service solutions at Anuga FoodTec India. Preventive maintenance kits provide customers with the necessary spare parts to simplify maintenance procedures. Having the right parts readily available helps to reduce downtime and keep equipment running efficiently. Syntegon also claims to offer a range of service agreements that can be tailored to a company's specific needs. These solutions are particularly relevant in markets where efficiency and reliability are critical for competition.
