Dotsmark Systems showcases UV laser coders and end-to-end marking solutions for flexible packaging
At PackMach Asia Expo and drinktec India, jointly organised by Messe Muenchen India and IPMMI, Dotsmark Systems highlighted its UV and fibre laser marking systems alongside CIJ, TIJ and TTO platforms designed for PET bottles, pouches, wires, cables and cartons

Dotsmark Systems participated at the show with its full portfolio of industrial printers and coding platforms, covering continuous inkjet (CIJ), thermal inkjet (TIJ), thermal transfer overprint (TTO) and laser coders for end-of-line and flexible packaging applications. Speaking at the stall, Ranjeesh Yadav said the company provides complete marking and coding solutions for pouches, wires, cables, cartons and a wide variety of FMCG, food, beverage and industrial substrates.
A central focus was the company’s compact UV laser coder, developed in partnership with Dikai, which replaces conventional TTO systems. Yadav explained that customers often face high recurring consumable costs with TTO ribbons, while the UV laser model eliminates consumables entirely, reducing long-term operating expenses. The compact system can be directly mounted on FFS (form-fill-seal) machines and is already deployed at operations such as Amul, where lower per-print costs have delivered measurable savings. The company also supplies the technology to larger FMCG and food processors, including Haldiram and Bikanerwala.
Yadav said the UV laser series has become the most enquired-about category at the show, largely because drinktec attracts PET-bottle-focused manufacturers; laser and CIJ technologies remain the preferred coding methods for PET. The company supplies three major laser platforms: DLU500F UV laser (355 nm, 5 W) for HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET and metal films with marking speeds up to 700 characters/sec; DLU520 UV laser with X&Y simultaneous scan, blue-light positioning and marking speeds up to 150 m/min; DLF1000 fibre laser (1064 nm, 100 W) for soft packaging, metal and engineering polymers with high-speed vector marking.
Dotsmark works closely with OEM machinery manufacturers, who integrate its laser or inkjet systems directly into filling, labelling and packaging lines. The company operates from its base in Mahindra, with branches in Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Chandigarh.
