Minebea Intec's Essentus Advanced checkweigher is designed for precise weight checking at speeds up to 150 products per minute

Under the motto "Passion to Precision," Minebea Intec will feature its cutting-edge X-ray inspection system, Identus. This system is engineered for highly accurate detection of contaminants like metal, glass, stone, bone, and dense plastics in packaged food. Identus has a 15-inch intuitive touchscreen, product teach-in functionality, and the capability to verify mass distribution, fill levels, and product completeness.

It can inspect various packaging formats, including sachets, trays, cartons, and metallised packs, at speeds up to 40 m/min, offering high-resolution imaging and robust safety features. Its seamless integration options make it a game-changer for minimising product recalls and ensuring HACCP and IFS compliance.

Mohan Bhat, the global director R&D & managing director India, Minebea Intec, said, “With our future-oriented weighing and inspection solutions, we support our industrial customers in producing safely and efficiently. We look forward to the trade fair and will be happy to respond to individual enquiries.”

Beyond X-ray technology, Minebea Intec will also present its range of metal detectors, with a special focus on the Freefall Metal Detector Vistus RS. This system provides sensitivity to ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless-steel contaminants in gravity-fed product flows. Its IP65-rated stainless steel housing and digital filtering ensure detection even in compact production spaces. The Vistus series is also available for pipeline systems and search belts, offering solutions for product purity and compliance.

Another highlight will be the Essentus Advanced checkweigher, designed for precise weight checking at speeds up to 150 products per minute. This checkweigher features an automatic learning mode, real-time weight visualisation, and a stainless-steel build, making it ideal for hygiene-sensitive sectors. Essentus Advanced helps ensure compliance with net content regulations, reduces giveaway, and integrates into automated packaging lines, accommodating a wide range of packaging formats.

Minebea Intec offers a portfolio of weighing and inspection solutions, including industrial scales, checkweighers, metal detectors, load cells, and silo scales. The company provides full support throughout the project cycle, from consultation to commissioning.
