Addressing producers' constant pressure to optimise performance and adapt to change, Factory OS is engineered to bridge the gap between fragmented data and actionable, continuous improvement across the entire factory floor.
On the factory floor, every decision counts. Producers face constant pressure to optimise performance, manage resources, and adapt to change. Digitalisation opens new possibilities - but real transformation requires more than visualising data or automating equipment. It’s about analysing, contextualising, and using data to drive continuous improvement across every part of the factory.
The Tetra Pak spokesperson said, "The Factory OS is the company’s next-generation automation and digital platform, purpose-built for food and beverage production." The system is an open, modular, and scalable ecosystem of hardware and software that connects equipment, data, and people to help producers make smarter, faster decisions, every day.
At its core is a new data integration platform, powered by open technologies, industry standards, and analytics. This system connects both Tetra Pak and third-party equipment and delivers real-time insights through intuitive dashboards, providing a unified foundation for a smart factory that is designed to grow with the business, addressing the Industry's Core Challenges
Whether producers are building a new factory, modernising legacy equipment, or preparing for AI-driven manufacturing, Tetra Pak Factory OS provides the contextualised data foundation needed for confident, speed-of-business decision-making.
How the Tetra Pak Factory OS is built ...
How the Tetra Pak Factory OS is solving the everyday realities of food and beverage production, enabling a shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive performance improvement.
Lower total cost of ownership (TCO): By connecting data across systems, the platform identifies inefficiencies, reduces waste, and optimises energy use. Predictive insights lead to smarter investment decisions and reduced downtime.
Safeguard product quality: The platform’s Quality Management feature enables structured, end-to-end digital quality assurance. It centralises quality data, guides operators in real-time, and provides full traceability from raw material to market claims.
Empower the workforce: Unified Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and intuitive dashboards simplify operator tasks, reducing training time and enabling teams to work more confidently and consistently.
Modernise legacy infrastructure: Built on open standards, Factory OS connects seamlessly with both new and legacy equipment, allowing producers to upgrade at their own pace without needing to replace entire systems.
Accelerate digitalisation: Its modular and scalable design allows producers to start small—integrating a single line—and expand as their business needs and technology landscapes evolve.
